Welcome to Saffron Walden Piano Services. I am James Beckwith, a piano technician based in Saffron Walden. I have been a piano tuner for over 12 years and tune pianos in concert halls, recording studios, schools, and many private homes. I am the main concert technician for Saffron Hall, where we have two fantastic concert grand pianos. Artists I have worked with include Nicola Benedetti, Paul Lewis, Víkingur Ólafsson, LSO, Britten Sinfonia, and many more. I have considerable experience in the various skills a piano technician needs such as piano tuning, servicing, repairs, and voicing. I used to work for Cambridge Pianoforte and Steinway & Sons.
